We are in our second decade of service in removing odors and VOC's with wet air scrubbers in the rendering industry. We do not cover up or “mask” odors in wet air scrubbers. We react with the air emissions, using compounds that will form strong bonds within seconds to move the newly created compounds from the air and into the water; we also condition the water so it will absorb the compounds from the air and blown down to waste water.       Focus:   Products and services offered are specifically developed for the rendering industry.  REACT-OX® is only sold for use in animal protein rendering applications, as the reactants are specifically targeted to the animal protein plant emissions / odors.    Service: Success in odor control for any rendering operation will benefit by regular visits of a field rep. The rep will ensure equipment is operating within specifications and equipment receives preventative maintenance of key parts.  Controllers, probes and pumps are calibrated during our regular service calls.            Equipment: By using standard configurations of equipment and being a dealer of the best equipment the industry has to offer, Hydro Solutions is able to maintain the inventory of key components to keep our customer’s chemical feed equipment running. In an emergency, most of the time, we will have the parts needed that can be over-nighted to the customer for repairs.                          Tools:   Any successful air scrubber program is going to need management tools the operators can use for reference. Issues such as blow down rates, chemical feed rates, clean out procedures, operation guidelines are all part of the service Hydro provides.         Trials:   We know what conditions are necessary within the air handling equipment to be able to remove the common emission compounds. We should be able to tell you up front if the emissions can be removed. If we don’t think the conditions are right, we will not waste your time and money; we will not run a trial in your plant. Successful trials and happy customers are how we grow our business.
