About this barrel
The barrel was distilled on September 1, 2015 and placed on the 3rd tier of Rick 40 on the fifth floor of warehouse P at the Jim Beam/Knob Creek distillery in Clermont, Kentucky. Warehouse P is one of two famed warehouses at the distillery that produce the best bourbon. It sets on a hillside overlooking the distillery and is uniquely flanked on three sides by woods. Knob Creek Bourbon is named after the creek that flows in front of Abraham Lincoln’s boyhood home which near the distillery.
